The PzKpfw III had been the mainstay of the German Army and the driving power to accomplish the Blitzklieg in the early part of the war. This was the realization of the fundamental idea on the main battle tank as proposed by General Guderian. In this issue the Panzer III Ausf. J/L with 50 mm main gun turret, the model the General originally had sought is analyzed with various detail photographs. The models included are early modified Ausf. J and Ausf. L etc.
