Stackpole publishing has rereleased Fedorowicz's best selling (and now out of print) "Tigers In Combat" Vol's I and II! These reprints are soft cover and though the content is the same, some items may have been omitted for publishing reasons. Despite the minor changes, these volumes are still amongst the most comprehensive works ever published on the infamous Tiger tanks. We are happy to see them available again at a much lower price, making them affordable for all modelers and armor enthusiasts!
Now you can own both volumes for less than one of the originals!
In this follow-up to Tigers in Combat I, Wolfgang Schneider turns his attention to the Tiger tanks of the Waffen-SS and the Wehrmacht's "named" units, such as the Gro deutschland Division, Company Hummel, and Tiger Group Meyer. Based on combat diaries, the text tells the history of each unit, but most of the book is devoted to photos of the tanks and the men who manned them. It offers as unique and comprehensive a look at these lethal machines as is possible sixty years after World War II.
